Uganda Cranes midfielder Michael Azira scored his first goal for Montreal Impact in the Major League Soccer against David Villa’s New York City in a game that ended 1-1 in wee of Sunday at Stade Saputo.
Camacho own goal in the 17th minute gifted New York with a lead before Azira levelled matters with a cool finish off a delicious assist from Piatti ten minutes later.
In the same match Azira was booked in the 49th minute.
It was his sixth game for Montreal Impact since joining in from Switchbacks on 8th August were he spent only one week on loan from Colorado Rapids and has so far registered three wins, two draws and one defeat.
Montreal Impact currently sits in 6th position on the 11 teams Eastern conference log with 40 points from 30 matches, 23 points behind leaders Atlanta United.
