Ugandan born midfielder Allan Zizinga has expressed his desire and interest in playing for his mother country Uganda at one point in his career.

Currently plying his trade in the Swedish division one North league with Arameiska/Syrianska, the physical, hard working and intelligent midfielder believes that no player wouldn’t wish to play for his mother country and it’s what he is aiming at.

It’s every player’s wish to don their national team colours and if an opportunity came at any time I wouldn’t turn it down and all that comes through hard work and great display which I am exhibiting.

He said in an exclusive interview with bigwhale sports.

When asked about what has kept him moving and his target ahead, he added,

I have always been focused and hard working and without a doubt my target is to play in the Swedish Allsvenskan which I am optimistic I will achieve soon.

Allan Zizinga alias Tomu is a former player of Proline Soccer Academy and Sports Club Victoria University.

He left for Sweden in 2013 under the KJT programme and has since featured for teams such as Vetlanda GIF, Vimmerby IF, Sodertalje FK, Haninge IFK and his current team Arameiska/Syrianska were he has so far started all three games in the second round since joining them in the just concluded transfer window.

In the Swedish division one, he plays along fellow Ugandans Ivan Bukenya and Martin Kayongo Mutumba who turn out for Linkoping City FC and Syrianska FC respectively.
