Ugandan players abroad continued to showcase their talent at their clubs in mid week registering different results, Our reporter Ronnie Lusulire followed them up to find out how they fared.

In Egypt in the top tier league, Hassan Wasswa started as his El Geish side fell 0-3 at home to ENPPI on match day two and are currently in 17th position on the log above Isaac Muleme’s Haras El Hoodod.

Former KCCA FC forward Derrick Nsibambi was in as his Smouha SC side shared spoils 0-0 at home against Nogoom to move to 6th place on the log with four points from two games.

In South Africa, Allan Kateregga came on in the 69th minute for Norodien as his Cape Town City FC fell 2-1 away at Baroka on match day to to drop to the fifth position on three points.

Denis Onyango started in goal for reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns before he was rushed off after a serious head injury in the 49th minute against Polokwane City. The Brazilians won the encounter 0-2 to move into third place.

In USA in the second tier division, defender Henry Kalungi was unused substitute as his Charlotte Independence side lost 0-3 at home against Bethlehem Steel.

In Kenya, Godfrey Walusimbi featured as Gor Mahia’s unbeaten run was ended by Bandari of William Wadri and Fred Nkata. Nkata was sent off in this encounter while Wadri didn’t feature due to injury.
