Uganda Cranes striker Derrick Nsibambi paid a visit last Friday to former school Dynamic SS in Mukono and Kireka United a FUFA Big league club he once played for and gave out a set of jerseys and ball to each of them as a sign of appreciating what they did for him that helped him become who he it today.
Nsibambi handed the jerseys and balls to Dynamic SS director Mr. Muhumuza at the school premises in presence of school coach and former teammate at KCCA FC Saka Mpiima while at Kireka United he handed the jerseys and balls to club chairman Mr. Kabogoza Norman Ssemwanga.
He played for Dynamic SS from where he joined Kireka United during their time in the Kampala regional league before crossing to KCCA FC.
It’s from the City lads that Nsibambi crossed to Egyptian top tier side Smouha FC recently penning a three years contract.
Nsibambi joins a number of players in the pearl of Africa who have given back to the society in different ways like Brian Umony, Ivan Bukenya, Savio Kabugo, Allan Kateregga, to mention but a few.
