Uganda Cranes flew out of the country on Monday morning (3am) aboard Ethiopian Airlines to Niamey, Niger ahead of a three nations’ tournament between 27th May to 2nd June 2018.
The Cranes will play their first game against Central African Republic on Wednesday 30th May and then Niger on Saturday 2nd June.
The team has been conducting training at the StarTimes stadium in Lugogo with a number of Professional players part of it while the rest that were summoned will join the team in Ethiopia and Niger respectively.
One change was made from the team that was initially summoned by coach Sebastien Desabre with Allan Kyambadde replacing Godfrey Walusimbi who was left behind due to his club’s (Gor Mahia) local engagements.
In the opening match that was played on Sunday 27th May 2018, hosts Niger shared spoils 3-3 against Central African Republic.

Note: Denis Onyango and Emmanuel Okwi will linked up with the team in Ethiopia while Yunus Sentamu, Moses Opondo, Bevis Mugabi and Edrisa Lubega will join the team in Niger.
