Uganda Hippos player robbed upon return from Cameroon

Uganda Hippos midfielder Ivan Eyamu will count him self lucky for being alive today thanks to the blessings and mercy of God.

After the Uganda Hippos returning successfully from Yaounde in Cameroon on Sunday in the wee hours where they exited the AFCON U20 qualifiers, Ivan Eyamu bumped into a gang of four thieves who were on two motorcycles commonly known as “Boda Boda” out side his residential gate in Naalya who beat him up as well as strungling him around the neck. They took all his clothes, casual shoes, sandles, and hard cash of 300 dollars and UGX50,000 shs that he had with him.

Speaking to BigWhaleSports on Sunday morning in an exclusive interview the young star said,

I am still shocked upto to now but I thank God I am still alive though with pain at the back and my neck since I was punched and strungled.

Eyamu turns out for FUFA BIG LEAGUE side Kataka FC and was outstanding in both legs against Cameroon.
