Stanbic Uganda Cup: Muhammad Shaban’s strike sends KCCA FC to the semis

Muhammad Shaban’s 9th minute strike against FUFA Big league side Kitara FC was all that KCCA FC required to progress to the semi finals of this years’ Stanbic Uganda cup in a massively attended encounter at Boma grounds in Hoima.

The defending Champions began on a high note with and in the 9th minute their hard work paid off when Shaban floated high to thump the ball in the net from a Denis Okot well weighed cross.

In the second half, KCCA FC did make two changes with Solomon Okwalinga taking the place of Muhammad Shaban and Isaac Kirabira coming on for Patrick Kaddu with two minutes to stoppage time.

The defending champions managed to hold on the result until full time to become the first side to storm the semis.
