Futsal super league current leaders Dream FC surrendered a three goal lead against Nestroy Kizito’s Parakeets FC in an entertaining encounter that ended 5-5 at the futsal international courts in Mengo on Thursday night.
Dream FC drew first blood through Mike Mutyaba who scored two other quick goals to make it 3-0 in just ten minutes thanks to unselfish Jamir Karisa assists.
Minutes later Parakeets surprised everyone with a massive come back with Somalian Abdirifitah Ahmed scoring three goals to ensure the first stanza ends in a stalement.
Before, the match was stopped for over twenty minutes following a scandle between fans and the match officials forcing the match to be moved to pitch one with no fans allowed in.
In the second half, Jamal Muyingo and Umaru Sekimwanyi netted for Dream FC to restore their lead and with a few minutes to go Abdirifatitah scored his fourth on the day before Richard Mutumba levelled matters to earn Parakeets a deserved result.
Earlier on the same night, KSPG FC fell to Bajim FC 2-4.
Dream FC moved to 45points from 18games while KSPG remained on 40points from 18games.
